13 km northeast of Bol, about 10 km from Pučišća, this village of shepherds located 500 m above sea level is the highest on the island. Gornji Humac has remained a quiet village with its stone houses, narrow streets and unspoilt nature. Here, we play the agrotourism card. The original local cuisine (cheese from Brač) can be discovered in the village's konobas and restaurants, associated with Dolčevita Trail. Another interest of the village is the family art gallery Jakšić. Sculptors from father to son since 1903, they transmit the art of stone carving. To the east of the island, the road goes down to the sea and ends at Selca and Sumartin (ferry to Makarska).
