The historic port was founded in 1500, when the Bishop of Trogir asked the regional authorities to build a tower on the water to protect the villagers from sea raids. Later, the walls were restored, the upper floors were fitted out and the watchtower became the unusual Marinska Kula hotel-restaurant. Nearby you can see the Gothic church of St. John, the church of St. Luke or the chapel of St. Joseph in a cave (3 km away). The small marina Agana offers today a peaceful anchorage for boaters. You can rent a boat on the spot. For more information, contact the harbour office or visit the website: www.marina-agana.hr
