Rare are the occasions to sit at the foot of a church! This is the romantic experience (especially in the evening) offered by the terrace of this restaurant, located on a quiet square, in the direct vicinity of the radiating chapels of Saint Chrysogone. On the menu, traditional Dalmatian cuisine, land and sea, full salads, lots of grilled meats and copious formulas to share (platters of fish, shellfish or grilled meats) served with southern vegetables or blitva (mashed potatoes with chard in olive oil).

Stumbled upon this restaurant. Calamari was outstanding! All the food and service was excellent and environment was cozy. Definitely a place to try in Zadar

I took grilled squid and was really satisfied with the quality, crispy french fries and creamy sauce - all you need when in Croatia.
The location next to a church (or some kind of historic building - not sure what it was) makes the experience of eating there even better.
Can't complain about the service - the waiter was very polite.

Really friendly staff and great ambient. We stayed for 5 days and went twice because the food was a great example of the local cuisine, at a price point which seems even lower than the quality would correspond with. Would definitely recommend.
