9 km southeast of Zadar, the airport is served by various European airlines (Lufthansa, Intersky, Germanwings, Ryanair, Danube Wings). For France, Ryanair flights leave from Paris and Marseille. Two daily flights are available to Zagreb via Croatia Airlines (45 minutes). To reach the city center (bus station, historical center), you will find cabs or Liburnija buses (4 €). Big infrastructure where many bus companies provide regular trips to and from Zadar. For example, Autotrans-Arriva offers daily tickets to Zagreb-Split-Dubrovnik, Istria, the island of Korčula, etc. Flixbus, the European company, has established its sales point here, Liburnija Bus provides daily rotations with the airport. Taxis offer the ride to the airport (cheap if you are 3 or 4 people).

From the historic port and the new port near the airport (Zadar Gaženica), two shipping companies provide year-round passenger transport to the Zadar archipelago.

Jadrolinija offers round-trip ferries to Preko, Brbinj, Molat, Sestrunj, Zverinac, Bršanj, Mali Lošinj, Silba, Olib, Premuda and Ist. Catamarans also serve Molat, Brgulje, Zapuntel, Ist, Iž, Rava, Rivanj, Sestrunj, Zverinac, Božava and Brbinj.

G & V Lines, with its fast catamarans, also runs services from Zadar to Iž, Rava, Sali, Zaglav, Sali and Bršanj.

This company provides airport transfers. Departure and arrival at the bus station or near the ramparts. Timetables can be consulted on the airport website. For the urban network, leave the station at the central bus stop on the main avenue Ante Starčevića and choose your bus according to your destination. Buses no. 2, 4 and 9 drop you off at the gates of the old town, either on the bridge side (Gradi Most) or on the forum side (Narodni Trg). For marina and sea access, bus no. 5 and 8 (Puntamika, Borik, Diklo).
