Several times a day, in about 90 minutes, the peninsula of Lopar, north of Rab, is connected by local ferries. On the winding road up the hill, before arriving in the very touristy resort, you can enjoy the beautiful sea landscape. In the harbor where the ferry from Valbinska or Baška (Krk) stops, you can see a huge hotel complex, the Resort San Marino, which lines up its buildings along the coast: five hotels and a thousand camping sites. A lot of concrete, but Lopar also has beautiful sandy beaches and some wild places towards the peninsula and the paths of Geo Park Rab.
