Remarkable buildings in Gothic and Southern Renaissance style in the northwest of the square in Rab.

On the northwest side of the square are the facades of old palaces. The Rector's Palace(Knežev dvor), built in 1509, the Princes' Palace (Bivši Palača Knezova), the Dominis Nimira Palace, all remarkable buildings built in the Southern Gothic and Renaissance styles, which are not open to visitors. A complex dominated by the high, square, three-story tower of the town hall, which enjoys beautiful openings with balconies decorated with beautiful lions' heads.
