Buses from Rijeka, Omišalj, Njivice, Krk-Ville and Baška stop in Punat. The economy of the town is mainly based on the reception of boaters and, more broadly, everything related to nautical tourism. Do not miss the excursion to the islet of Košljun off the marina. This is where the Benedictines settled in the 12th century and the Franciscans in 1447. The latter opened their monastery to the public.
