Territorial museum with a library housing a very rich collection collected during regional excavations of different periods.

The museum was established in a Baroque palace in 1884. A rich collection of over 2,000 objects, collected during regional excavations. Different periods are covered, from prehistory to modern times, including Roman antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance... The library boasts a catalog of over 12,000 titles, including old manuscripts and prints, as well as contemporary books and periodicals on Croatian history and Istrian art.
