A legendary name for a quality hotel that, although not from the Orient-Express era, recreates its outdated charm. The rooms, bright, are tastefully decorated and the welcome is warm. The small details of the decoration are taken care of, especially at the bar, decorated like a wagon of the famous train. The only small inconvenience is that the hotel overlooks the avenue used by the tram. The terrace, which offers a beautiful view of the entrance to the Golden Horn, is pleasant and hosts the delicious restaurant Imbat. Pleasant swimming pool in the basement.

Hotel confortable et très propre avec une piscine intérieure agréable. Bon petit déjeuner et bon emplacement à deux pas des principaux sites touristiques du vieil Istanbul. La station de tramway Gulhane se trouve à quelques mètres de l'hôtel. Personnel très sympathique. Seul hic : mauvaise insonorisation des chambres.

C' est une bonne adresse à Istanbul près de toutes les commodités. La chambre est un peu petite ainsi que la salle de bains, mais très propre. Un petit plus avec la piscine qui nous offre un moment de détente. Le petit déjeuner est varié. Le Wi-Fi fonctionne irrégulièrement.

"Excel hotel, a warm welcome and senses of hospitality.
Pleasant super hotel ideally located in the heart of istanbul's historic district. The main monuments to be seen at all costs are very close (10 to 15 minute walk). The tram station is two steps. The staff is very attentive smiling, friendly and always on the guest. The service is impeccable: very clean, firm bedding and quality, sheets and towels are changed every day. In short nothing to complain about. The breakfast buffet served in the basement is varied and copious. Note a swimming pool in the basement and a very good restaurant (Imbat - to see small- elegant) on the roof terrace with city views. With an exchange email before our departure, the responsible guest answered all our specific needs: transfer airport (very pleasant when you are numerous with many luggage), two rooms next to each other, booking a table to the Imbat restaurant evening our arrival. Basically a super stay in this very good value for the friendly welcome. (Avis left on TripAdvisor).
