Indicated in the airport (at the exit, take the escalators and follow the signs; from 6am to midnight). The most economical way, as long as you are not too busy and the schedules match. Line Havaalanı-Yenikapi. Rate of 2.60 TL with the Istanbul Kart, 5 TL as a single-use ticket. 35-minute trip to Yenikapi. Important stops (18 in all) include: Zeytinburnu (tram link, 15 minutes from the airport), Otogar (bus station), Topkapı (wall district) and Fatih. The location of the hotel is important. If it is close to Aksaray and Laleli, you get off at a stop before the terminus. To get to the districts of Beyazıt, Sultanahmet or Sirkeci, you have to make a connection to Zeytinburnu and take the tramway (you have to take a new ticket at 5 TL); this one serves the whole historic city (journey of about 1 hour). The last stop being Kabataş, you are very close to the surroundings of Tünel and Taksim.
