According to the traditions of the time, a mosque was not only a place of worship, but also a place of life. We used to add stores to create a source of income. Thus was created, the Arasta Bazar, one of the most famous places in Istanbul in terms of souvenirs for tourists (carpets, kilims, leather, jewellery...). Smaller, it is more typical than the Grand Bazaar and less popular with tourists. The traders are less insistent.
