Petit Futé's opinion on POBLE ESPANYOL
Built in connection with the 1929 Exhibition, the Spanish village offers the opportunity to travel to seven-league boots through Spain and its architecture. The 17 autonomous communities are represented by replicas of the Valencian Baroque facades, Castilian Squares or even whitewashed houses with Andalusian lime. Renovated in 1988, it became a leisure centre with several souvenir shops and crafts, restaurants, theatres and bars. Despite its slightly kitsch side, Poble Espanyol is a pleasant ballade to visit the entire Spain in a short period of time. The site remains open at dinner time and provides access to bars and trendy clubs.
