A 42.195 km long marathon that runs through Barcelona's iconic sites. Since 1978, it has been an essential annual event for Catalan sportsmen and women. The event begins and ends at Plaça d'Espanya, at the foot of the Montjuïc hill. The runners then head for Camp Nou, Casa Batlló de Gaudí, Sagrada Familia and Tour Agbar, before going along the coast and its beaches. They then cross the Barri Gòtic and its cathedral, the monument dedicated to Christopher Columbus, before reaching Plaça d'Espanya for the arrival.

The official launch ceremony for the ^37th edition of the America's Cup, a sailing competition that originated in New York, will take place in Barcelona on August 22, 2024! An event of international stature, during which numerous regattas will be organized around the Port Vell and along the beach to the Port Olímpic. However, the final match of this prestigious naval competition will not take place until October 12, 2024. An event not to be missed!
