Luxury hotel with spa and swimming pools in the heart of the Ramblas in Barcelona.

This hidden gem of 19th century Spanish architecture is located in the heart of the city. It is housed in a building built in 1881 for the Marquis of Comillas, which was restored in 2005. You will feel like you are staying in a palace! The hotel has a spa and a charming terrace called the Isabela where you can enjoy a relaxing pool, tapas and cocktails, while admiring the cityscape in the background. The El Nido restaurant will be at your disposal, with the best of local cuisine and for the exclusive use of guests.

La ubicación del hotel es inmejorable, perfecta para recorrer todos los sitios de interés de la ciudad a pie. Las instalaciones y el delicioso desayuno, también son excelentes. Sin embargo, si tengo que destacar algo en particular, me inclino por la atención de todo el personal, que fue excepcional. Estoy embarazada y cuando se enteraron nos enviaron a la habitación una atención que nos hizo emocionar (una canasta llena de frutas, un chupete, un cartel de “en hora buena” y unas copas para brindar). Y en el desayuno, Vanesa, una de las chicas, se ocupó cada mañana para que todo fuera perfecto con su atención y simpatía. Suuuuuper recomendable!!!

Hotel wywarł na mnie pozytywne wrażenie ;)

Przestronne mieszkanie, z wygodnym łóżkiem w sypialni, a także czystą i nowoczesną łazienką.

Pyszne i obfite śniadanie, które jest atutem noclegu, zasługuje na szczególne wyróżnienie w recenzji tego miejsca.

Kolejnym atutem hotelu jest restauracja, oferująca wyśmienite jedzenie.

Obsługa zasługuje na pochwałę, ponieważ jest miła i sprawna.

Nocleg w cenie adekwatnej do jego standardu i ofert.

Chętnie zdecydowałbym się tutaj jeszcze raz zatrzymać, gdybym ponownie odwiedził to miasto, i chętnie polecam to zakwaterowanie wszystkim, którzy szukają eleganckiego noclegu w Barcelonie ;)

We arrived in Barcelona on a miserable, dull, windy and rainy afternoon. We walked into the hotel and were greeted with a big smile welcome at the reception which cheered us up. We were checked in swiftly and showed to our room. To our surprise, we were upgraded to one of their suite as they were fully booked on the room which we originally booked. It was very spacious, super clean and very comfortable with all the necessary facilities, which made us home, away from home. It had a lovely balcony and an outdoor private swimming pool which unfortunately we could not take advantage of as it was too cold. Ana and her team at the restaurant were very welcoming and accommodating. However; breakfast was a bit of a let-down. There were plenty of choices of fresh fruits, cheeses and sliced cure meats but if you love a nice cooked, hot breakfast you would be disappointed; just couple of small pots of baked beans, sausages and Luke warm scrambled eggs, not what I was expecting from 1898!

A big thank you to management team and all the staff making our stay in Barcelona a memorable one.

Beautiful hotel that is very well located, very clean with an amazing staff that went out of their way to make sure every aspect of our stay was 5 star, now we don’t want to leave. Note, if sensitive to noise ask for a room away from the main street.

We hebben echt een geweldige tijd gehad in dit hotel! Geweldige service, goede cocktails, schitterende locatie in barcelona, heel erg nette hotelkamers en badkamer en een heel mooi dakterras. Het barpersoneel staat ook open voor een leuk praatje wat erg gezellig is!
Kortom alle vakjes zijn ruimschoots afgevinkt. Een excellent hotel!
