In the heart of the Gothic Quarter, you'll find the Mariscco Reial restaurant in a "Renaissance" building dating back to 1850. It once housed the Gran Café Español, then the Natural Sciences Educational Museum. The place was frequented by personalities from the world of art and culture such as Joan Miró, Ava Gardner, Mario Cabré and Salvador Dalí. Mediterranean cuisine is served here, combining wild fish and fresh seafood from nearby fish markets with organic and local ingredients.
