Last year, the Museum of the Battle of Gergovia highlighted different artistic representations of Vercingetorix. This year, it is Caesar who is in the spotlight with the exhibition Caesar at Gergovia, an event dedicated to the latest discoveries of the presence of the famous character and the Roman army at Gergovia. The public will also have access to old documents testifying to the work of archaeologists on the site at the time of Napoleon III. A part of the exhibition of the museum of Puy-de-Dôme will be dedicated to the daily life of the Roman legionary during the battle of Gergovie, with the presence of a camp reconstituted in computer graphics.
