The Kalambo Falls are the largest in Africa after the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe! At a height of 215 m, they are set in a very rich natural environment, particularly in terms of ornithology. They boast superb views, especially from Zambia. They can be admired from both sides of the border. It's also a major archaeological site (habitats, Acheulean axes, etc.), said to have been occupied during the Stone Age, 60,000 years ago, when a lake lay there. Entrance costs US$15 per person, and there's a camp where you can pitch your tent on your own.
