Travel Guide Uyole

At the junction of the Tanzam Highway heading to Iringa and the road heading south to Lake Nyasa and the Malawi border, this small town can be a good place to stop for the night. Especially for those who drive their own vehicle or do not want to spend the night in a big town like Mbeya (13 km west of Uyole). There are a number of small local hotels, the most recommended being the Browmar Hotel, Southern City Hotel and Uyole Junction Lodge, which are inexpensive and have good facilities for the area (hot water). There is also a convenient supermarket and a gas station
