Camp with several bungalows and stone bandas overlooking the Uluguru Mountains in Nyerere National Park

Opened in 1999 near Matambwe gate. It is the closest and therefore the cheapest luxury lodge to pick you up from Kisaki railway station. The camp now has several stone bungalows and bandas, with views of the Uluguru Mountains. All are comfortable and the view of the canopy from the terrace is sublime. In addition to the usual safaris, Sable Mountain Lodge offers a night safari where your chances of seeing some rare and shy animals are optimal, such as the shy and nocturnal leopard.
