Travel Guide Chwaka Bay

To the east of the island, at the entrance to the bay bounded by the Michamvi peninsula, the village of Chwaka is located in the protected area of the Jozani-Chwaka National Park, because of the beautiful mangroves that grow there, and which deserve to be preserved. The beach is small and full of seaweed, and people don't come here to enjoy the white sand, but to prefer the intimacy of a small fishing village to a club vacation.
