My name is Olympe, I am from France. I met in 2015 Modi, Hadi and Bablon in Kenya.
These 3 boys are childhood friends and passionate about sailing, they grew up together in a dhow on Lamu Island.
All together we decided to go to Zanzibar with the BOSS DHOW, so we sailed on the Indian Ocean from Lamu to Kendwa beach for 4 days to arrive in this paradise and start a new life. So we created our own business with the boss dhow through our hobbies to share our experiences with you. MNEMBA ISLAND
Sailing on a traditional wooden dhow is the best way to experience Mnemba Atoll.
This is a full day trip that starts at Nungwi/Kendwa beach around 10am
We let the wind guide the sail, in a relaxing atmosphere, on the way we make a swimming stop at Muyuni beach which is one of the best wild beaches on the island of Zanzibar, we regularly see dolphins on this trip.
When we reach the glorious island of Mnemba, after 1.5 hours of sailing, our crew will start preparing your lunch including fresh barbecued fish or seafood.
( you can also bring any extra drinks to store in our cooler).
During this time, we suggest you jump in and enjoy the amazing crystal clear water. Mnemba is like being in a giant aquarium, snorkeling at Mnemba is precious, these reefs have been declared a marine conservation area, there are plenty of colorful tropical fish, swimming between the 600 species of coral reef fish like angelfish, parrotfish, clownfish, pufferfish, wrasses, and other species, Mnemba is the best answer for divers and snorkeling enthusiasts.
You can also enjoy the sun on the comfortable mattress inside the dhow, relax in the shade or in our hammock
At low tide we will drop you off on a sandbank where you will have the best view of Mnemba Island, ideal for taking great pictures.
Then we will return around 5-6pm to end this perfect day with a wonderful sunset.
TUMBATU ISLAND
We organize snorkeling trips to Tumbatu, a beautiful island surrounded by the coral reef where it is nice (and easy) to snorkel and enjoy the crystal clear waters of Zanzibar.
It is considered a sacred place by the locals, so it is not very frequented by fishermen. This is why its barrier is still perfectly intact and full of life. You will encounter giant groups of turtles, moray eels, seahorses and many more.
This is a half day trip (morning or afternoon) always accompanied by our crew who will help you enjoy this experience safely.
We provide all snorkeling equipment, water, fresh fruit and a sweet snack.
Our dhow is fully equipped with life jackets, first aid kit, sunshade, boarding ladder and waterproof bags. Our trips are run by professional, trained crew (captains and guides), two of whom have been lifeguards on the beaches of Dubai, so they are very experienced and consider safety as the number one priority.
Mini sunset cruise!
The dhow cruise is the best way to experience the glorious sunset of Zanzibar.
The sunset cruise starts when you board the dhow at the nearby beach.
The sail takes you around the northern coast. This is another side of Zanzibar from the ocean.
The crew will show you the attractions from the boat

We will include a swim stop if you wish.
Enjoy a snack on board as the dhow glides further out to sea.
