This lodge, built on top of a hill, offers a beautiful view of this part of the Serengeti (the Mbingwe valley). The rooms, topped by a roof reminiscent of an African hut, are of the usual good standard of this chain, and benefit from the panorama. The decoration is extremely meticulous, especially thanks to the many wood carvings. The artist lives in the lodge, where customers are impressed and buy his creations. A beautifully turquoise and refreshing swimming pool awaits you under the acacias. The terrace of the restaurant and bar is very pleasant, the staff friendly and not too insistent. As in many lodges, the entrance is open to animals living in the area. With a bit of luck, you will meet buffaloes or monkeys in the garden. Don't worry, guests are escorted back to their rooms by rangers once the night comes. As a bonus, there is an excellent cuisine.
