Located in the heart of the Serengeti, this lodge is a true marvel! It blends in perfectly with its surroundings, while providing all the services of a luxury hotel. The rooms are elegant and finely decorated, the terraces offer spectacular views (especially at sunset) over a lagoon where the animals come to drink, and the restaurant serves refined international fusion cuisine. It's one of the few hotels in the Serengeti to boast a swimming pool, gym, spa and fully open 4x4 safari vehicles.

If I could give the Melia Serengeti 10 stars, I would. My husband and I stayed here as part of our safari honeymoon and it was incredible. What a magnificent place, with truly wonderful people. Nathaniel, Moses, James and Teddy were all incredible and made us feel so welcomed. The quality of service here, from the views, the rooms, and the food was all exquisite. Definitely book to stay here in the Serengeti! 5 star service all around.

My wife and I did a 5 day safari as part of our honeymoon, and while most places we stayed were nice the Meliá stands out as far and away the nicest.

The team here knew it was our honeymoon and set out a special candle lit dinner for us upon our arrival. The food was 5 stars, comparable to a Michelin guide tasting menu at home in california.

The best part were the people - Moses, James, Nathanial and Teddy, were incredible. They took care of everything, and anytime we needed something they just magically showed up with it two seconds later. Absolutely worth it!

We just had the best experience of an accommodation here in the lodge. Very friendly staff, in an awsomely decorated lodge, which reflects the culture of africa perfectly with a balanced mix with modernity. The buildings are so nice that you never miss anything of your modern luxury life, but still give you the expected feeling that you are in the wilderness of Africa.
The high prices of accomodation and the catering are totally worth it.
I want to say thank you to everyone who was involved in all the organisation from engeneering, to the service staff. We had a great time here. Love you all
