Using a base of quality chocolate, he works the flavors to give birth to exceptional creations. Macaroons, fruit jellies, nougats: he makes you want to taste his world. Open since 1993, Au Bon Coteau is the ideal place to find the right bottle of wine. Pierre Moulin and his son welcome you to share their passion for good wine. The owners are there to help you in your choice. Pierre, the son, likes above all to put forward the human being behind the bottle and will gladly tell you about the men who made it before letting you taste it. The shop can welcome small groups for tastings and even offers a bar and a terrace where it is possible to taste boards and wine.

Here, everything is done to combine the pleasure of the eyes and the taste buds. An old style front, a nicely decorated and stocked shop window, elegant and tasty pastries, melting chocolates, pastries with a good taste of butter... If the classic products are highlighted, you will also find fruit jellies from Auvergne, old-fashioned sweets or even pretty coated dried fruits. Each product is worked with passion. This cheese dairy has been in existence since 1961, when the Houlbert family took it over. The choice is vast: creamy Saint-Nectaire, blue-veined Fourme, thick-rind Cantal, tangy Gaperon, goat's cheese in all its forms... Some cheeses mature in the crèmerie's cellars. Always in search of innovation, the dairy created its own cheese: l'Yssoirien, made from pasteurized cow's milk. Since then, it has been prepared in a variety of recipes. In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious fondue (max. 10 people).

When you walk through the doors of Arthur's bakery-pastry shop, you will discover the city's emblematic cake: the Supreme. Slightly crunchy, soft and meringue, it contains a delicious praline cream. As soon as you taste it, you'll love it. The wonderful world does not stop here for the gourmets. In the window, huge meringues are presented. The almond tuiles and cookies are also eye-catching in their size and appearance. Their taste and cooking are perfect. The welcome is warm and the advice is judicious.

Lasagne, caponata, arancini: it's not just the names that sound Italian here, but the flavours and colors that take us away from the Mediterranean towards the land of la dolce vita. On the grocery side, you'll find all the products you need to concoct a good Southern dish (pasta, risotto, truffle oil...). The catering side, where each dish seems to be more delicious than the next, and where you can't decide between gnocchi, involtini, cannelloni di magro and other recipes from Italy. You'll have to come back to taste it all!

To visit this producer's store, you will have to leave downtown Issoire, but the trip is worth it! In addition to seasonal fruits and vegetables, the wooden shelves are filled with delicious products, enough to compose a gourmet basket 100% local. You will find jams made in Sauxillanges, soaps from the "Les Mains Sales" soap factory in Champeix, fruit syrups, wines and craft beers, preserves... In the cheese department, the farmhouse Saint-Nectaire cheese will surely make you look at it because its price is attractive.

Cookies, cakes, entremets, macaroons, tarts... In Anne Meunier's pastel-colored tea room, flavors and colors appeal to all our senses. First installed in Sainte-Florine, the pastry chef had to enlarge her store. So she moved to Issoire. In addition to the delicious pastries, chocolates are made. Seated in the nicely decorated room, you can see the team working through the glass roof. Lunch formulas are also available. Here, everything is home-made with seasonal products.
