Famous for having housed the Russian tsar Peter the Great and his wife Catherine when they visited Tallinn in the century.
This house without much interest at first sight is known to have sheltered the Russian tsar Peter the Great - and his wife Catherine - when he was visiting Tallinn in the 18th century while waiting for the construction of his Kadriorg Palace to be completed. From 1714 they stayed here many times. It was a museum from 1806. The place is still furnished and decorated as it was in those days. Some personal objects of the tsar are also on display.
