A charming small village with 500 inhabitants, 6 km from Billom, which has two testimonies of the interesting past. First of all the remains of a castle, recalling that the village was an important fief in the Middle Ages. It was the Aycelin family that was owner until the th century. Saint John's Church is far from being ruined. She's even proud. The arkose gives a lot of heat to the whole and the apse and absidioles chevet has very harmonious proportions. The arched nave in cradles without doubleaux flanked by côtés with contre is a bit the prototype of the Auvergne bedside. The barlongs pillars are completed by impostes. The choir's capitals are decorated with leaves or characters such as atlanteans, centaurs… A painting representing a Christ surrounded by Mary and three saints was discovered late.
