The best restaurants Bansko (Бahcko)

One of the gourmet addresses in Bansko. You will enjoy a tasty and generous cuisine with Italian tendencies with pizzas, but also a variation on pasta and risotto, without forgetting the Bulgarian classics, soups, barbecue, etc. The room is bright and nicely decorated, cosy and very comfortable. Good products, freshness, beautiful presentations, pleasant service and honest flavors are enough to make us happy. But be aware that it is better to reserve during peak hours, as is always the case for good addresses!

It is the tavern of the charming family hotel of the same name in a quiet street of the resort. Here you can enjoy traditional Bulgarian dishes as well as international cuisine, including pizzas, and the inevitable grilled and barbecued specialties. The open terrace, overlooking Nikola Vaptzarov Square, offers an alternative to indoor dining. Live traditional music in the evening. The food is really delicious, the service impeccable and the prices reasonable. Good wine list and appetizing desserts.

Tavern of the hotel of the same name. Located in a two century old fortified house, this restaurant-cave offers traditional Bansko dishes (meat, fish, Bulgarian salads...) with tasting of good local wines, and offers folklore shows. The Todeva tavern offers its guests particularly tasty home cooking with generous portions and good desserts. Very warm welcome, family and friendly atmosphere. A restaurant highly recommended to spend a very good time.

Outside of town, on the trail route. This small restaurant is frequented by locals, well known for its barbecue specialities. The service is fast and of quality, with a smile and availability. Also, the large garden overlooking the mountains is particularly enjoyable in summer. Be careful, in winter, the restaurant room is quite small. It is therefore better to book in the cold season. A trip outside the city is worthwhile in any case. And the desserts are also excellent.
