A little farther west, you can win Collo (El-Koll) by N 43, but the journey is even more pleasant, though tortuous, by the W 28 then the N 85 (W 6).In Collo, steep trails along beautiful coves isolated and leads towards the peninsula of Djerda, a rock crowned with a lighthouse and towards the white sandy beach of the Bay of Young girls and the Ain el Doula beach. In summer, the little port celebrates sardines and the atmosphere along the "boulevard" is provided by numerous snacks.Collo is also four medieval cities: Bir-Etouil, Bir-Erkaid, El-Awwaliyya and El-Azouline. In this area, tourists are hosted by local operators, including Jamel Tourism.Although the Taleza plain, where Jugurtha king of the Numides was delivered to Sylla, is becoming the most important beach, it is still the fountain of the Boar and the beautiful beach of Tamanart (km north-west, on the route of Cape Bougaroun) which have the symbol. The visitor of Collo should not miss the tour of the lighthouse, nor do you forget to eat beautiful grilled sardines. The city has one of the oldest sardine canning on the southern shore of the Mediterranean, the Colliote, inaugurated in 1958 by Mr. Falcone.
