This place bears the name of the Caribbean thinker Frantz Fanon who militated for the independence of Algeria. It can be seen the building of the former Algerian company (CPA bank) recognizable at its pavilion pavilion with a conical roof. The famous Café Riche, which has stayed for a long time on this square, has been replaced by a modern hotel, Hotel Timgad, whose coffee with terrace is called the Grand Café Rich in memory of the past.
