A life-size aquarium! Certainly less dazzling than before the fallout of El Niño, but still. Emerging about 1 km off the beach of Côte d'Or, beyond the tiny Chauve-Souris island, Saint-Pierre, included in the Curieuse National Marine Park, offers for snorkeling one of the most interesting bottoms as it is as beautiful above as below. With its handful of coconut trees rising from the rocks, Saint-Pierre is very photogenic. The site is even more popular as all the tour operators offer to transport their clients there, who have to pay a landing fee of 300 SR (including Curieuse).
