Le Duc is a great address. Robert Payet, its dynamic construction manager found himself in a four-star niche while keeping a variety of prices making this good-quality address still accessible to an average budget. Set back from the beautiful beach of Côte d'Or, but unfortunately with no view, it has, as a setting, a tropical garden where orchids grow, landscaped in a Japanese style with its old stumps of flowering trees, its waterfall and a small wooden bridge illuminated at dinner time and especially the swimming pool. You can add to the 6 redesigned standard rooms of the three original cottages 20 rooms that are superior, air-conditioned, while equipped with a veranda, an LCD TV and wifi Internet access, a safe, a minibar and a kettle. The decoration is very tasteful, the bathrooms more than pleasant and have large bathtubs. Very refined, the seven suites have tall buildings for setting and divided into junior and family suites. A fitness room waits for lovers and a swimming pool adds some blue to this green site, in its evening dress, beautifully sparkles, the bright Koi carp pool integrated into the restaurant, which, in a wood and glass setting, offers, three evenings per week, a good Creole-style buffet, three other nights for a « table d'hôtes » dinner and the seventh is that of a barbecue. For crustaceans or meal on the beach, it is in nearby, at Café des Arts that Robert had the good idea to revive and that he has one of the most pleasant Praslin restaurants. Very popular among French people and often full, this Duc de Praslin is all the more commendable with its relaxed atmosphere and excellent welcome.
