While the Hôtel des Lauriers was given a new look in 2019, the restaurant was also completely rebuilt. The room, which was sometimes too crowded in front of the influx of tourists who came to taste Edwin's fishing, has been finished. The new room, open to the four winds, is superb and airy. Inspired by the architecture of the dugout canoe sheds of the beginning of the century, topped with a roof made of latanier leaves, the year of work has paid off, the result is truly magnificent. Once at the table, the recipe for success has not changed. After a delicious cocktail, the buffet opens with a wide choice of salads. Before enjoying a dessert of your choice, curries and grilled meats are served. At the controls behind the (big) barbecue, the boss Edwin, therefore, offers good meat, but is especially the rwa of grilled fish. He is also an ace of the sea. Diving, fishing, excursions: the guy Rose will have done a lot of wandering on the water before anchoring himself a little bit on land, for the love of a beautiful blonde, a Belgian named Sibylle, who doesn't spare herself to make her business work, a success, because we're here now in one of the reference restaurants of Côte d'Or. It's better to make reservations, even during the week. To make the most of this new spot, you can now sit there all day long for an ice cream, a smoothie or an à la carte lunch (with pizzas and excellent salads of the day, in particular) before a swim in the new swimming pool. Please note: the breakfast buffet is also open to all. In short, an excellent address where you will be welcomed with a smile. We love it!
Open every day from breakfast to dinner. Closed the first fortnight of June. Count 250 SR per person for breakfast, from 200 to 450 SR for lunch and 500 SR per person for the Creole evening buffet (250 SR per child from 3 to 11 years old).
At the beginning of the day the restaurant offers a rich buffet breakfast (7.30-10.30 am). Later in the day we offer a special menu for lunch by the pool (12:30-15:30) with pizzas and a variety of salads and snacks. The Creole evening buffet (7pm-10pm) - for which Les Lauriers are justly famous - serves a wide range of exquisite local dishes, each freshly prepared and offering something for every taste. The barbeque offers a selection of meat and fish, while the fixed dining stations are filled with tempting salads, curries and ready-made meals. Vegetarians and people with special dietary needs are also catered for and are never hungry! Beverages are offered thanks to efficient table service.
