Baie Sainte-Anne, the island's "capital", lives mainly to the rhythm of the ballet of tourist boats that dock and cast off several times a day. With no beach worthy of the name, this horseshoe-shaped bay has been robbed of the spotlight by Côte d'Or and Grand'Anse. Nevertheless, with Grand'Anse, it is the other town of the island and Seychellois regularly go to these relatively modern buildings to do their shopping and other daily formalities. Not far away, towards Cabris Point, a few quality addresses have taken up residence, including the exceptional domain of Château de Feuilles, the only Relais & Châteaux in the country.
Hiking. It is possible to reach Grand'Anse by the Consolation road. The road to Consolation! Exceptional... It's the perfect walk to get a good view and lose the calories of the banana stew or the coconut cake! Not even 10 km to go, but what a show... and what hills! 30% inclination on the side of Anse Marie-Louise and Anse Consolation, this site being one of the most enchanting of Praslin. Last typical images of the Seychelles in the old style, with its painted tin houses and scenes of life that we hardly see elsewhere. From Anse Bois de Rose to Anse Citron, small beaches follow one another along the road, around the picturesque swimming pool of the Coco de Mer hotel. Once you arrive in Grand'Anse, you can stroll around the town before waiting for the bus that will take you back to Baie Sainte-Anne, this time via the Vallée de Mai.
