Between Sainte-Anne and Longue, a few fathoms from Ronde, Moyenne is 450 m long and 250 m wide. It only takes an hour to go around it. Owner of this island since 1962 (10,000 pounds at the time), Brendon Grimshaw had made it his peaceful retreat since 1973 at the end of a career in which he was a newspaper editor and personal adviser to Tanzanian President Julius Nyerere. He had the good idea of labelling the trees: arrowwood, mango sabre, eucalyptus, sandragon... Many trails run through this forest. The Robinson died in 2012, bequeathing his piece of paradise to the Seychelles National Parks...
