3.9/5
26 reviews
Open - from 12h30 to 02h30

The success of this cocktail bar on Beau Vallon beach has led to its expansion, and Mr. Eddy now offers excellent grilled meats all day long (the kitchen closes at around 10pm). Between a Seybrew and a rasta mai tai, you can enjoy grilled chicken, fish kebabs, grilled shrimps and breaded chicken breast, all to the sound of a DJ on Thursdays and a live band on Sundays. There's plenty to keep you going between swims... and you'll be greeted with a smile!

AUGERINE SMALL HOTEL

Regional cuisine restaurant €€

What a pleasure it is to dine with the Hoareau family! Every evening from 7pm, guests of the small hotel can be joined by outside guests who have made a reservation in advance. Here, you can eat with your feet in the sand of Beau Vallon under a huge, superb takamaka. On the menu is a small, perfectly executed Creole buffet, which changes daily as it is concocted with fresh produce. Each time, we treat ourselves to salads, lentils, chicken curry or excellent grilled fish. Family atmosphere and good food on the menu!

OCEAN DECK & CORAL ASIA (CORAL STRAND)

World cuisine restaurant
3.8/5
107 reviews

This snack restaurant has the advantage of being on the beach. At the edge of the small swimming pool, it is a practical address to have lunch between two sunbathing sunbeds and a breaststroke. The menu is varied, between seafood and grilled food, and will satisfy a wide range of desires. Upstairs, under a nice straw mattress, there is the Coral Asia (same hours) which offers a wide range of sushi, sashimi, tempura and other yakitori. It is a very good place to eat Japanese food.

LA PERLE NOIRE

Open - from 18h30 to 23h00

This is the home of the Rigamonti brothers, who have been delighting the world for decades by candlelight. Combining their native Italy in every possible way, the brothers serve veal with ham and mushroom sauce, an excellent tuna tartar and spaghetti with lobster and whiskey sauce. Real Italian pasta, of course. Their shrimps are also famous: curried, grilled or spicy. Italy also flows in the glasses and adds to the romanticism of this table. You can also sit on the peaceful terrace, facing the vacoas, where the evening air is so soft.

LA PLAGE RESTAURANT

French cuisine restaurant €€
4.2/5
5 reviews

In this dream setting, overlooking the beach, you're in for a treat! Between tradition and audacity, the chef (who also offers a suggestion each day) works the produce to perfection, with tuna sashimi, freshly caught fish of the day, Charolais meats, Creole fondue and a wide variety of oysters on the menu. All washed down with one of the many labels from the cellar. At lunchtime, the menu is lighter but always tasty, for a treat between two swims. Also worth trying is the à la carte breakfast on Sundays (from 10am to 12pm).

THE BOAT HOUSE RESTAURANT

World cuisine restaurant €€
4/5

Nicole and Françoise are restaurateurs at heart! In the evening, it's best to arrive as early as 7pm, under the large straw hut-style roof facing the beach. Reservations are essential. For SR 585 (SR 300 for children under 10), a typical Creole buffet with a dozen salads (avocado, mango...) and as many hot dishes (barbecued fish, chicken, octopus curry, lentils...). The rest of the time, à la carte dishes and a friendly bar await you.

BAOBAB PIZZERIA

Italian restaurant and pizzeria
3/5
1 review

Feet in the sand and sitting on a bench, this is a perfect spot to have lunch between two sea baths or to eat cheaply at nightfall! To the north of the bay, the pizzeria of the smiling Madame Michel, open to the four winds and recently rebuilt, can calm a little hunger, even in swimsuits. Pizzas and pasta are of course on the menu and, if it's not worth Italy, the setting is really nice... The place is very often full, so it's better to be a little patient when you want to order.

WOODEN HOUSE

Regional cuisine restaurant €€

This pretty wooden house, which opened its kitchen in 2021, is the new table of Beau Vallon. Since then, it has been delighting its visitors, who mostly sit on its small covered terrace, with a rather original menu. Indeed, one can choose between excellent pasta dishes, with products directly imported from the Italian Botte, and Japanese specialties of very good quality. It must be said that with freshly caught fish (including an excellent raw tuna) directly from the Indian Ocean, the quality products are there! We like it a lot.

MAHEK RESTAURANT (CORAL STRAND HOTEL)

Seychelles restaurant €€

An exotic table, where the exoticism does not stop at the decor (very kitsch), since this Mahek (aroma) makes no concessions to Seychellois cuisine. In the plate, indeed, a real cuisine from there. A la carte: lentils cooked in a tandoori oven, small corn with tomatoes and spices, saffron cheese and spicy yoghurt, job Goa sauce, sautéed lamb with herbs and spices, chicken marinated in yoghurt and the traditional Indian rice pudding.

PESCADO (SAVOY RESORT & SPA)

Regional cuisine restaurant €€

In a romantic atmosphere by the splendid 700 m2 Savoy swimming pool, Pescado offers a beautiful menu of fish and seafood (we loved the red mullet ceviche) and some refined meat dishes. With jazzy music in the background and a pretty wine and digestive cellar, here is the promise of a good time together.
