This imposing crescent-shaped bay is home to the nearest large beach to Saladan and the landing stage. Because of its proximity, it is also the beach with the most tourist facilities. It begins after the small Kawkwang beach and stretches southwards for just over two kilometers. As is the case all along the coast, resorts of varying standards are located here. Several interesting restaurants and stores line the road. Klong Dao lies to the north-west of the island, starting about one kilometer after Saladan (and the junction to the bridge leading to Koh Lanta Yai).
