Formerly called Ao Phra Nang (as the road signs still show), this bay located about 20 kilometres west of Krabi is now known as Ao Nang. The coast is dotted with more than 80 islets. A dream place at first glance, but the beach has been methodically concreted so that the traffic is not hindered by the waves and in the evening the waterfront is transformed into a night market.
