Haad Salad, one of the island's most beautiful beaches, lies to the northwest, although swimming is only possible at high tide. Resorts occupy almost the entire shoreline. It's the perfect place for a swim and a break in one of the seaside restaurants. A coral reef lies around 150 meters from the beach and is a good diving spot. If you follow the west coast, don't hesitate to take the (fairly wide) side roads that deviate from the ring road (which doesn't necessarily follow the coastline). More or less legible signs indicate the various establishments.
