WAT KHAO SUKIM

This temple, built in 1966 to serve as a meditation hall, is located on a large hill. It can be reached by a free funicular service. Once at the top, you can enjoy a nice view of the surroundings. The temple houses a superb collection of religious objects: jades, pottery, furniture... You can also see about twenty wax statues of monks, so well made that they look like real mummified men! A pleasant visit to make if you are in the area, if only to observe the devotion of the locals.
