Bor Sang is a small village on the road to San Kamphaeng, about 9 km east of Chiang Mai (route 1006). This is where the famous multicolored paper umbrellas, Bor Sang's main attraction, are made. You can also find ceramics and wood carvings, Buddha statuettes, porcelain and jade objects, ceramic vases, traditional paper, silver jewelry and silk garments, etc... The village is mainly made up of craft stores and workshops. Prices are often quoted on a per-customer basis: so haggle, haggle, haggle!
