Wat Mangkon Kamalawat, or Temple of the Lotus-Dragon Flower, is one of the most prestigious Chinese temples in Thailand. It is located in the heart of Chinatown and hosts important ceremonies for the Chinese community, including Lunar New Year. An uninterrupted stream of locals come here to make offerings. There are statues of Buddhist symbolic objects, including a parasol, pagoda, snake head and mandolin.
