It is the largest bus station in Thailand. Although it is primarily focused on the northern and northeastern regions (Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Nong Khai, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, etc.), some buses also leave for the west. Just go to the information booths and ask the helpful and knowledgeable staff which counter to use for your desired destination. The terminal is far from the city centre, but it is close to the Mo'Chit BTS station.
