Often nicknamed "the flying saucer" because of its architecture, it was built in the 1970s, thanks to the "1,000 pools plan", the aim of which was to make swimming accessible to the majority of French people. Its 25-meter pool is nestled under a modular bubble to let in light and create a solarium area in summer. Dedicated to swimming rather than leisure, its lanes also host departmental championship competitions. Aquafit and aquagym classes are also available. The pool floors were renovated in 2018.
