La Table de Fred is the name of Fred Alfonsi, the owner of this small restaurant nestled in the historic district of Montferrand. The chef's menu now gives pride of place to local produce and, where possible, organic or sustainable agriculture. He sublimates traditional cuisine, always with a touch of modernity and a pinch of originality. The mix of flavors delighted our taste buds. The portions are generous and the desserts delicious. Choose the dining room rather than the small terrace, on a busy street.

Très bonne adresse, le restaurateur aime son métier et ça se voit ! les plats sont excellents et bien mis en valeur
The food was exceptional, from the limited a la carte menu, 2 course for 35 euros, 3 for 40 euros. Not the cheapest but fully justified. Fresh in season ingredients, beautifully cooked accompanied by a glass of good wine. The hardworking maitre de kind to help with menu translation when our limited French was obvious. Would love to return but leaving CF as on tour.
