If you're looking for Auvergne specialties, there's only one place to go: l'Alambic. Here you can sample the famous potée auvergnate, truffade with cured ham, tripoux with tomato, an excellent cassolette of snails or beef cheek terrine. Other delights on the menu include cabbage soup, hazelnut cream pounti and sea trout filet with cantal. Original desserts, such as charlotte with candied chestnuts, complete the experience.
