In the center and surrounding areas there are parking meters with different rates for different zones. It is possible to pay via the PrestoPark application. Resident and business season tickets allow you to park at a lower cost. The city has long-term parking lots outside the city, park-and-ride lots (Dunant, les Pistes) and free lots near the tramway (Croix de Neyrat, Margeride, la Pardieu). Private underground parking in the center is convenient, but more expensive. For a stay, the Yespark application allows you to rent a parking lot.

Still struggling to find change to activate the parking meter? Since the end of 2017, the city of Clermont has equipped itself with an alternative with the PrestoPark mobile application. As for Chamalières, Issoire and Riom, it is its sister company Whoosh that operates. These two tools allow you to pay for your parking without using a parking meter. After an initial registration, you just have to start the application when you are parked. The rates remain the same and the payment is adjusted to the actual parking time. Please note, however, that the first time you register and the vehicle registration cannot be changed after registration.
