The Clermont-Ferrand metropolitan area is served by nearly 30 public transport lines. The tramway passes through 34 stops, with a frequency of 6 to 8 minutes during rush hours. La ville de Clermont Ferrand a un réseau de bus étoffé ainsi qu'une ligne de tramway, ce dernier se distinguant par le fait qu'il est à roue et non sur rail comme la plupart en France. Cela ne vient pas du fait de la présence de Michelin à proximité mais des dénivelés de la ville a priori. Toutefois, cela a ses inconvénients car cela use plus vite la chaussée qui doit être refaite tous les 6 ans environ. Sinon le tramway est confortable et pratique.
