FIESTA DE LA NIEVE

This snow festival marks the beginning of winter and the ski season in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. It lasts a whole week during which many activities are organized: fireworks, parades of floats, election of the Snow Queen and regional contests. Organized by the National Parks Administration, the festival takes place precisely in Cerro Catedral, the largest ski resort in South America.
