Trevelin is the equivalent of Gaimán in the vicinity of Trelew. At the end of the last century, the Welsh coast colonies on the Atlantic coast grew. Looking for new land to exploit, they set up in the interior of Chubut valley. This was followed by the 16 Colonie settlement (1888). Trevelin has preserved its Welsh atmosphere, especially since the competition of the most beautiful garden, organized for several successive years, has created the best-maintained lawns in the region. A walk in the village will lead you to one of the inescapable tea houses and why not, at the museum, installed in the old wheat mill. . means that Trevelin means the City of the mill.
