Petit Futé's opinion on ARTE NATIVO
Alberto Chauque has been promoting and disseminating his culture through craftsmanship for about fifteen years now. The costume jewellery and decorative objects on display all come from the know-how of the Wichi community, originally from the Chaco, in the extreme north of Argentina. The materials used are organic and natural, everything is handmade: fabrics with natural dyes, leather, wood and cactus, rhodochrosite. Thanks to handicrafts, the Wichi community is able to preserve its ancestral way of life.
